During her last visit to New York City, Michaela Anne swung by the Relix office to share some tracks from her album Ease My Mind. Welcome to Birds of Chicago and Farewell Milwaukee on ABC's Secrets & Lies

Five Head is excited to welcome Birds of Chicago to the management roster! I first saw Alli and JT captivate a Santa Fe audience in a carpeted, hotel ballroom that seemed to be straight out of the 70s ; it was one of the stranger venues I've been to for a show but I was hooked on the band. They've just recorded a new record with Joe Henry and are working on some big things. Excited to have them on board. The new album won't be out for a few months but you can hear their latest album, Live at Space, below.

Congratulations to Farewell Milwaukee on their first big placement. "Way Out" will be featured on ABC's Secrets and Lies this Sunday at 8pm CT. Ben wrote an awesome, heartfelt post about the song and how it helped define the band early on (read it here). It's only fitting that this track is the first one to break through. Hope you'll tune in this Sunday.

Before the breakfast taco and margarita saturation begins, I thought it'd be a good idea to share Mandolin Orange's SxSW schedule. The band will be doing a whopping 7 shows over 4 days including 2 official showcases. Catch the full schedule below!

Whoa, it’s already 2015! Lots going on, so on with the news!

Michaela Anne’s Ease My Mind has continued to rack up critical acclaim. Coverage from the last few months has included:

Michaela was also featured on the Starbucks playlist for fall and winter, alongside Mandolin Orange. Thanks to Starbucks for featuring both acts!

Mandolin Orange capped off a big 2014 with a successful cross country tour and two s0ld-out hometown shows at the Cat’s Cradle over Thanksgiving weekend. Not ones to rest, they decided to stay busy this winter and just wrapped a run of the west coast dates supporting the Wood Brothers. They’ll be headed into MST soon to tour with Gregory Alan Isakov, then they’ll head over to Austin for SxSW. Somewhere between all this, there will be news about new music and summer plans!

Farewell Milwaukee is braving the weather and touring around the midwest this winter. Confirms over the next few months will have them traveling around MN, WI, IL, OH and more. Check their site for full tour listings! As new TV pilots start to debut this spring, it’s looking like you’ll be hearing their music in some exciting new shows! Air dates and the like will be posted as they come in!
