‘Humbird Sings Billy Joel
tbh I’ve never been a Billy Joel head. But this year was a tough one. In my own little world, in the macrocosm we all share, for friends and family I love. It’s been a big heart wrenching Uffdah. And one day while crying in the grocery store a song came on with lyrics that felt like they were talking to me at the exact right time I needed, a little pep talk to find a way, to take the next step, to keep moving.
Anyways, that song was ‘Vienna’ which is apparently a big hit I never truly listened to before. I love that about songs. Sometimes they float around for decades and you never really hear em. Then when you need it bad and don’t even realize, they wrap around you and keep you company.’ - Siri Undlin
