A peek into the Mighty Poplar inaugural tour

While this spring has been Mighty Poplar’s first official tour together, many of the members have collaborated for years. On this run of shows, they’ve been able to step to the center, sharing a full night of featured music. Kicking off in Colorado and Arizona, the band then headed west through California, concluding this week with shows in Seattle & Portland. For fans out east, Mighty Poplar heads your way this fall!

Watchhouse wraps up Duo Tour

Through the spring, Watchhouse has traveled the US sharing their music in its most original form, as a duo. After releasing their album Watchhouse (Duo) in 2022, it felt only fitting that they share the setup live as well. With a mostly sold out run, Watchhouse now settles in for a show on the other side of the spectrum, with the Colorado Symphony!

The Other 22 Hours Podcast Coming March 15!

Michaela Anne and Aaron Shafer-Haiss announce they will be hosting a podcast called The Other 22 Hours. The podcast consists of conversations with artists about all the time OFF stage and explores creativity, sanity, & balancing a career around art. “We want this show to be a resource FOR our community, FROM our community.” You can listen anywhere you find podcasts on March 15 and even watch the interviews via YouTube! The Liberated Woman’s Songbook

Dawn Landes in collaboration with PineCone, a performing arts venue in Raleigh, NC, host an all-star cast of area musicians reimagining the songs of ‘The Liberated Woman’s Songbook’ on April 14.

‘Dawn found a songbook at a used bookstore years ago and couldn’t put it down. She said, “The songs spoke to me then and lately they’ve been speaking a little louder.” Dawn wanted a stage to bring these songs to life again. The Liberated Woman’s Songbook, an iconic 1970’s publication that chronicles the women’s liberation movement in song from the 1800’s to the 1970’s. “It’s unbelievable how much these stories of women’s struggle with lovers, the system and themselves still ring true today,” says Dawn of the collection.

She’ll be joined by Alice Gerrard, Emily Frantz (of Watchhouse/Mandolin Orange), Rissi Palmer, Charly Lowry, Lizzy Ross (of Violet Bell) and Kamara Thomas.’ - PineCone News
